This project was SW's magnum opus—a decade-long endeavor encompassing over 26 acres. SW provided civil and structural design and oversaw construction from start to finish. Challenges included realigning the Dondang River and managing rocky ground conditions. Today, it houses thousands in 8 high-rise and 9 low-rise blocks, complete with a community clubhouse and a supermarket complex.

Encompassing 65 acres of land in upper Raja Uda Road, SW provided civil and structural design for over 20 blocks of 3-storey shop-offices, a hotel, and medium-rise apartments. Today, they form part of the vibrant uptown Raja Uda business center.

Adaptive Reuse 3-Star Hotel Retrofitting

Previously an office block, the owners decided to convert and retrofit the building into a 3-star hotel. SW provided civil and structural consultation to the client, as well as handling authorities approval for the conversion.

Built 2007 Healthcare Radiation Protection

The client, KPJ Pantai Hospital, engaged the contractor for a design-built contract for the radiology section extension. Working together with associates, SW provided the C&S design services. Notable challenges included selecting a special concrete mix for 600mm thick walls to fulfill maximum radiation leakage requirements and supporting heavy radiology equipment.
